Jake E. Lee talks about playing at Ozzy Osbourne’s final show

The former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee will be part of Ozzy Osbourne's final show, which will happen before Black Sabbath's final show, which will happen in Birmingham, England next July 5. In an interview with Guitar World, the musician revealed that he might perform the song "Ultimate Sin" during the celebration. Jake E. Lee talks about playing at Ozzy Osbourne's final show “I know people are expecting Bark at the Moon, but I don’t know. Right now, with my wrist, the arthritis and everything, that would be very challenging. I have a couple of months to get up to it, so I’ll practice it just in case that’s the one. But that’s going to be pretty challenging for me physically. I'm shooting for Ultimate Sin. It's heavy, and I like the solo in it,” Jake E. Lee said. In 2024, Jake E. Lee was shot in Las Vegas while taking a walk with his dog at night. The police reported that he was shot at 15 times. Thankfully, only 3 bullets hit him, missing his vital organs. He was struck in the chest, arm, and foot but now is almost fully recovered. The 67 year-old guitarist was born in Norfolk, Virginia and started his musical career in 1980. He first achieved fame after he became a member of Ozzy Osbourne’s band in 1982, not long after the tragic death of the guitarist Randy Rhoads. With the former Black Sabbath vocalist, he recorded two praised studio albums: “Bark at The Moon” (1983) and “Ultimate Sin” (1986). After that he recorded with groups like Badlands, Wicked Alliance, Mickey Ratt, Enuff Z’Nuff and Red Dragon Cartel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_ypaOIVmaA&pp=ygUMdWx0aW1hdGUgc2lu Black Sabbath's final show The all-day event will also feature a supergroup of musicians.
