Ohio Bride & Groom Go Viral For Going To A Megan Moroney Concert Right After Their Wedding Ceremony
This is my kind of couple, ditching their wedding for a concert.
It’s not every day that you see a woman in a large wedding dress dancing at a concert. If anything, you see brides hitting the bar after their reception or the local late-night diner like Waffle House to get a little grease in the system before calling it a night.
However, a Cleveland, Ohio bride had different plans and skipped her reception early to see one of her favorite country music artists perform: Megan Moroney. Personally, I’d consider fully rescheduling my wedding day if there was a must-see concert coming to my city, but this bride, with the help of her supportive groom, found a way to make both events work.
The bride, Jackie, went viral from many fans’ perspective after being seen in her ballgown style dress at the concert, and one of the viral moments was posted by her wedding planner, who shared that the staff at the venue, Jacob’s Pavilion, helped make this bride’s dream come true.
“We met with Jackie a few months ago, and she mentioned Megan Moroney was going to have her concert that same night as her wedding! So we went down to the staff and we made it happen! This was literally by far our favorite wedding! So glad we could make this happen! The staff at Jacob’s Pavilion were amazing!! Thank you for making our brides dream come true!”

When Moroney performed “Girl In The Mirror” during her setlist, the audience pulled out their phones, lighting up Jacob’s Pavilion with flashlights while the bride and groom slowly danced to the tune on a walkway. The crowd was in awe of the moment, with one creator saying behind her camera that it was making her choke up.
The bride is glowing throughout the entire moment, and her groom earned some major brownie points for starting off their marriage by letting her experience this moment on their special day. I think this man has the “happy wife, happy life” motto down and appears to have been practicing it long before the “I dos.”
I hope this couple creates a tradition of seeing Megan Moroney on tour each year near their anniversary. Congrats to the beautiful couple and for making a lasting memory.
Seems like a pretty good first dance to me…

After reading a few comments, everyone hoped the bride could be identified so they could share the captured moment with her, and it sounds like the mission was successful. Many women were also quick to say that the bar has been lifted for men who are dating fans of the Emo Cowgirl.
Check out a few of my favorites before you leave.
“I see my future and it’s BRIGHT.”
“I’d die.”
“What a perfect way to celebrate your marriage (now my husband will have to do the exact same for me).”
“Girl, I would’ve done the same. It seems like a dream.”
“Goals.”
“Best honeymoon ever.”
“I’m crying.”
“Real life princess.”The post Ohio Bride & Groom Go Viral For Going To A Megan Moroney Concert Right After Their Wedding Ceremony first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
