Chávez Jr. misses court for case unrelated to ICE arrest, lawyer says status unknown
An attorney for boxer Julio Cesar Chávez Jr. said Monday he does not know whether his client is still in the United States after he was arrested by ICE last week.
Chávez Jr. was scheduled to appear in court Monday to seek early release from a pretrial diversion program stemming from gun charges in January 2024.
