ANOTHER Top Biden Aide Pleads the Fifth In Autopen Investigation
Yet another senior Biden aide has just refused to testify as part of the ongoing investigation into the coverup of his health decline and autopen scandal.
Today, Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini plead the fifth to avoid answering any questions from Congress.
She wouldn’t even say a word to reporters as she walked to the deposition.

Annie Tomasini was subpoenaed by Rep. James Comer to testify, but she plead the Fifth to avoid answering any of his questions.
The New York Post shared more details about who exactly she is:
Tomasini was one of the first Biden aides dispatched to take inventory of papers in March 2021 at the Penn Biden Center, where some of the sensitive files were later found by his lawyers and turned over to the authorities…
Tomasini began her career as a press secretary for then-Senator Joe Biden (D-Del.) when he chaired the chamber’s Foreign Relations Committee in the 2000s.
She initially agreed to come before the Oversight panel willingly, but reversed her decision earlier this week. Her lawyer requested a subpoena to compel her appearance in front of the Oversight panel.
Tomasini, Bernal, Jill Biden and ex-special assistant Ashley Williams all shielded the president from the public in what some have dubbed operation “Bubble Wrap.”
Tomasini’s refusal to testify marked the third time this has happened.
The other two witnesses who invoked the Fifth Amendment were Biden’s physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor and Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Anthony Bernal.
Following Tomasini’s refusal to testify today, Rep. Comer released this statement:
The third witness in our investigation into the cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline and unauthorized executive actions pleaded the Fifth Amendment today. There is now a pattern of key Biden confidants seeking to shield themselves from criminal liability for…

The third witness in our investigation into the cover-up of President Biden’s cognitive decline and unauthorized executive actions pleaded the Fifth Amendment today. There is now a pattern of key Biden confidants seeking to shield themselves from criminal liability for this potential conspiracy.
Annie Tomasini, former Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations, pleaded the Fifth when asked if Joe Biden, a member of his family, or anyone at the White House instructed her to lie regarding his health at any time. She also pleaded the Fifth when asked if she ever advised President Biden on the handling of classified documents found in his garage, if President Biden or anyone in the White House instructed her to conceal or destroy classified material found at President Biden’s home or office, and if she ever conspired with anyone in the White House to hide information regarding the Biden family’s ‘business’ dealings.
It’s unbelievable that Ms. Tomasini and others refuse to answer basic questions about President Biden’s fitness to serve. It’s apparent they would rather hide key information to protect themselves and Joe Biden than be truthful with the American people about this historic scandal. There needs to be transparency and accountability, and we will continue to pursue the truth and examine options to get the answers we need.
The more they do this, the more guilty they look…
Rep. Comer now says he wants to subpoena folks from higher up the chain — including Jill Biden and Kamala Harris.
Per ABC News:
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told reporters that former Vice President Kamala Harris and former first lady Jill Biden “should” be subpoenaed in the panel’s investigation into former President Joe Biden‘s mental capacity while in office after another top Biden official pleaded the Fifth on Wednesday.
“Well, I think they should,” Comer told ABC when asked if the committee should subpoena Harris and Jill Biden. “They should have already issued statements. They should have already done public relations campaign to sit down and answer questions. They should go on FOX, they should go on CNN and answer questions.”
Comer also said the committee has scheduled a slate of depositions with former Biden officials in the GOP’s investigation of the Biden administration’s use of the presidential autopen. At President Donald Trump’s urging, Republicans have taken aim at Biden’s clemency actions signed during his final hours in office — wondering whether staff acted on their own accord or at the direction of the president.
“So we’re going to bring in everyone. We’re moving up the line,” Comer later added. “So we’ve started with the lower-level staffers that we think were the ones that actually put the documents in the autopen and pressed power. Now we’re moving up to the people that we think told the staffers to use the autopen. So we’ll — we’ll see where that takes us. But I think the possibility is very good that — that we’ll be asking members of the family to come in and talk.”
