I'm all for two-way communications, but getting licensed and following the rules makes it very easy to be identified. I monitor the local repeaters and all I need is a call sign, that you have to use during communications, and I know your name and address. Plus the HAM guys are the first to be out there helping the government, snitching on your communications. You get the amateur radio operator's license and you become part of the system IMO.
