Get ready to get country when you fire up Madden 26. The popular NFL video game is set to release on August 14. Football fans will rush to get their hands (more like downloads now) on the game that will bring the NFL’s upcoming season to life weeks before the actual games begin. And if I know anything about sports games, it’s that the difference between Madden 25 and Madden 26 will mainly just be… updated rosters. That’s really my only problem with sports games… we can’t just do a new game maybe every two years? And update the rosters? Another thing that changes from year to year with sports games is the soundtrack. A subtle but very important part of crafting a sports video game is the corresponding soundtrack. Connecting a collection of absolute bangers to a video game can make the experience and the memories of it that much better (looking at you NBA2K17). Luke Combs, Gavin Adcock, Jelly Roll, HARDY and Shaboozey round out the big country music names that are included. Combs’ most recent release “Back in the Saddle” is the perfect fit for a video game loading screen, and Gavin Adcock actually has two songs featured in the soundtrack that he hasn’t even released yet.
