Luke Combs Brings “Crowdsourcing” Idea To Life With Secret Instagram Account Full Of Unreleased Demos

He’s really doing it, folks. Luke Combs has a surprise in store for fans, as an unverified Instagram page has emerged featuring unreleased tunes from the “When It Rains It Pours” hitmaker. But could this mean? It appears that Luke’s creative idea has sprung into effect. Earlier this month, Luke Combs released the heater of a single, “Back In The Saddle,” marking the start of his next chapter of music. While Combs shared that fans will sadly not get a new album until 2026, what he’s shared with fans thus far has them fired up. Combs feels the same way about this next chapter, sharing in March that he feels like this next record could be his best work yet. “I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage. It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made.” I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks working on what my next record looks like and as it begins to take shape I can honestly say I’ve never felt better about one at this stage. It’s early on but I really do think it could wind up being the best record I’ve ever made. — Luke Combs (@lukecombs) March 26, 2025 Slowly but surely, we’ve found out about what could make Combs’ upcoming album the best of his career. He wants to return to his earlier sound and create anthemic, stadium-filling songs that tap into what he does best —and he shared with fans that he’s sitting on a large stack of songs that feature this sound. During an interview with Katie & Company, Luke revealed that he’s recorded over 30 songs for the new record. However, he doubts they’ll all make the cut because he doesn’t necessarily plan on making a huge, thirty-song album like has become the trend these days. (Yes, Morgan Wallen, we are looking at you.) “I’ve probably got one recording session left on it, but I’ve already recorded, I don’t know, over 30 songs I would think. I don’t know that there’s any plans to do, like, the big album thing. I just don’t know if I love that idea, you know.”  After fans heard this news, they began to buzz with excitement, wanting to hear more, but also questioning how Combs would be able to cut down such a massive list. But that gave Luke a genius idea. Earlier this week, Luke Combs shared a tweet letting fans know that he was considering having fans tell them what they wanted to hear on his next record: “Seriously considering ‘Crowd Sourcing’ my next record. Like just put up a bunch of demos and work tapes to see what y’all like best.” Seriously considering “Crowd Sourcing” my next record. Like just put up a bunch of demos and worktapes to see what y’all like best. — Luke Combs (@lukecombs) August 5, 2025 Leading us back to this new Instagram account. Luke sent an email out to his Bootleggers Fan Club a few hours ago and it featured a link to new, secret accounts: “Decided to “Crowdsource” for my next album. I put up a bunch of work tapes on a new Instagram and TikTok to see what y’all like best. Not telling anyone else right now, just Bootleggers.” Sorry Luke… I got a job to do. With its first post made just a few hours ago, Luke Combs has brought his idea to life, sharing 14 new songs on the account @lcombs77 on Instagram and TikTok. Of course, the Instagram bio fits Luke’s mission of crowdsourcing songs, and if there is any confusion about the authenticity of the account it’s followed by Luke, his wife, his manager Kappy, some folks at his label, and his creative director Zack. “Crowdsourcing songs for my next album.” Fans quickly discovered the page and are already weighing in on which song they like best. And so far, I’m loving what I’m hearing as I move through the 14 acoustic demo tracks. Honestly, this a pretty incredible concept, and just more proof that Luke Combs truly is the man of the people. “A Man Was Born” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Set The Record Straight” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Some Bar” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “I Used To Pray” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Fastback” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Always Gonna Be” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Shouldn’t Miss You Here” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Hearts On The Window” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Stay” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Heaven, Tennessee” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Wild You Were” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Last Thing She Tried On” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “What Did You Do To Me?” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) “Left Your Heart Have A Mind Of Its Own” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Luke Combs (@lcombs77) The post Luke Combs Brings “Crowdsourcing” Idea To Life With Secret Instagram Account Full Of Unreleased Demos first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
