Nearly 20 years after Reba went off the air, Reba McEntire returned to television with Happy’s Place on NBC. She teamed up with Melissa Peterman, and together they’ve made the show a huge success. Reba fans love seeing the pair back together and also enjoyed cameos from Steve Howey and Christopher Rich during the first season of the new show. Many have wondered if Joanna Garcia Swisher, who played Reba’s daughter Chyenne Montgomery, will ever make her way to Happy’s Place. She recently told Parade that all they have to do is ask her. “No doubt. If they were to ask me to do it, I would 100 percent be there and I would move mountains to do it,” she said. So a cameo for her would have to “work for the story and all of those moments.” Joanna Garcia Swisher told Parade that she hasn’t had the opportunity to be part of Happy’s Place at all because of her schedule filming Sweet Magnolias in Georgia. “When I’ve been in L.A, they haven’t been in production, so I’ve just seen them personally, but I really want to go back and watch them create that magic. They’re just all so special to me. In front of the camera and behind the camera, that’s family,” she said. Joanna Garcia Swisher keeps Reba in her heart, wherever she goes. She posted a sweet dedication to her TV mom on Instagram for her birthday earlier this year. “It fills my heart to celebrate this icon, friend, mentor, tv mamma, favorite auntie, and utterly wonderful human always, but especially today on such a meaningful birthday.
