Slipknot Reportedly Close To Selling Catalog
Slipknot is close to completing a deal to sell its music catalog for approximately $120 million.
According to Billboard, the deal between members of the multi-platinum Metal band and HarbourView Equity Partners includes publishing rights and recording master royalties. It reportedly covers the band’s back catalog but not future releases.
Beginning in ’99, Slipknot has released seven albums. Their latest full-length effort, “The End, So Far,” peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200, marking their sixth Top 10 album on the chart.
HarbourView Equity Partners is an investment firm focused on opportunities to support premium content across the entertainment, sports, and media markets.
