HUGE: President Trump Will Patrol The Streets Of D.C. Alongside The Military Tonight
President Trump will be going on night watch tonight!
In an interview with Todd Starnes, Trump revealed he will patrol the streets of Washington, D.C., alongside police officers and military members to assess the effectiveness of their crime prevention plan.
Trump’s move comes a day after Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth patrolled places where D.C. crime was previously rampant before Trump ordered the National Guard to be mobilized in the nation’s capital.
ABC News reported more on Trump’s plan to patrol the streets of D.C.:
President Donald Trump announced that he is “going out” with police and military in Washington, D.C. on Thursday to oversee the surge in federal law enforcement and National Guard, who are responding to what he says is a crime emergency in the district.
“I’m going to be going out tonight, I think, with the police and, with the military, of course. So we’re going to do a job. The National Guard is great. They’ve done a fantastic job,” Trump told radio host Todd Starnes on Thursday.
The president mobilized the National Guard one week ago to assist the police, claiming crime was out of control.
The plan came a day after Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller visited the National Guard at Union Station, where they were drowned out with boos from protesters.

Fox 5 News reported on Vance and Hegseth’s recent visit to the D.C. metro station where National Guard members are stationed:
National Guard members stationed at Union Station received an unexpected visit Wednesday from Vice President J.D. Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who handed out burgers and thanked troops for their service.
The visit came as protests continued over President Trump’s emergency order deploying federal troops to the District. Demonstrators shouted “Free D.C.,” calling the move an un-American militarization.
Union Station has become one of the most visible posts for National Guard presence in the city, said FOX 5’s Melanie Alnwick.
Here are some videos of Vance and Hegseth’s visit:
