One in particular who ‘served’ in President Trump’s first term was already singled out for investigation. In fact, he has every right to be as nervous about being raided by the FBI as he appeared to be on MSNBC’s This Weekend. Because, well… he probably will be! Miles Taylor has already been stripped of the security clearance he held as a top DHS official during President Trump’s first term. Not to mention the President publicly put him on notice via a White House memorandum that he’s under the microscope for his shady behavior. He tried to put on a brave face during an appearance with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart on Saturday, playing the patriot unfairly targeted by a tyrannical President — as is his custom. Just think — he’s been watching the Trump Administration gear up to deliver on those campaign promises, rooting out the corrupt Deep State, for months now. Then with John Bolton’s home actually raided for HOURS by the FBI, he now says he fully “expects” to be raided next, as reported by The Hill: Miles Taylor, a former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official, signaled Saturday that he could be the next target of President Trump’s FBI after ex-national security adviser John Bolton’s Washington-area home was raided by agents early Friday. Taylor, who served as a deputy chief of staff at DHS under Trump’s first term, was asked by MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart about the raid and whether he is concerned about the administration’s next moves. “Yeah, we expect it. I mean, really, we expect it,” he told Capehart. “And that’s what is so surreal about this is we can all hear as we’re talking about this, be so certain of the president’s revenge campaign to know potentially who that next target might be or one of those next targets.” The former DHS aide added, “I mean when my wife and I woke up and saw the news, she basically said to me, ‘It’s coming.’” The search of Bolton’s home and office marked an escalation in the feud between Trump and his former national security adviser, with critics seeing it as a potential act of retribution. Taylor, who previously suggested the president kept a “blacklist” for persecution, said as much in his appearance Saturday on MSNBC’s “The Weekend.” “It’s a president of the U.S. weaponizing the tools of his office to reshape our society. And he’s doing that. He’s making sure the scales of justice tip in his favor,” he continued, adding later, “There’s no telling where this could go next.” Trump told reporters at the White House on Friday that he was not told ahead of time about the raid but expected to be briefed later. Bolton has often criticized his former boss over foreign policy decisions. He was also a witness during the president’s first impeachment probe. If you’ll remember, Taylor wrote an “Anonymous” book — literally using that Pseudonym — and then admitted he was the one anonymously subverting the President from within. You can read the full text of that directive here, taken from the White House website: MEMORANDUM FOR THE HEADS OF EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES Miles Taylor was entrusted with the solemn responsibility of Federal service, but instead prioritized his own ambition, personal notoriety, and monetary gain over fidelity to his constitutional oath. While serving as an administrative staff assistant at the Department of Homeland Security, Taylor stoked dissension by manufacturing sensationalist reports on the existence of a supposed “resistance” within the Federal Government that “vowed” to undermine and render ineffective a sitting President. He illegally published classified conversations to sell his book under the pseudonym “Anonymous,” which is full of falsehoods and fabricated stories. In so doing, Taylor abandoned his sacred oath and commitment to public service by disclosing sensitive information obtained through unauthorized methods and betrayed the confidence of those with whom he served. Where a Government employee improperly discloses sensitive information for the purposes of personal enrichment and undermining our foreign policy, national security, and Government effectiveness –- all ultimately designed to sow chaos and distrust in Government — this conduct could properly be characterized as treasonous and as possibly violating the Espionage Act, and therefore makes such employee ineligible for access to national secrets. In his former position, Taylor relied upon various colleagues to facilitate his unethical laundering and release of sensitive Government data to advance his false narratives. It is therefore against America’s interests to allow those associated with Taylor to access our Nation’s secrets. Accordingly, I direct the Attorney General, the Director of National Intelligence, and all other relevant executive department and agency (agency) heads to immediately take all action as necessary and consistent with existing law to suspend any active security clearances held by Miles Taylor, in addition to individuals at entities associated with Taylor, including the University of Pennsylvania, pending a review of whether such clearances are consistent with the national interest. I further direct the Secretary of Homeland Security, in consultation with any other relevant agency heads, to take all appropriate action to review Miles Taylor’s activities as a Government employee. This review should identify any instances where his conduct appears to have been contrary to suitability standards for Federal employees, and where his conduct appears to have involved the unauthorized dissemination of classified information. Upon completing this review, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall prepare a report to be submitted to the President, through the Counsel to the President, with recommendations for appropriate remedial or preventative actions to be taken to protect America’s interests. Taylor went on MSNBC again just two weeks ago essentially prophesying the eventual arrest of those who weaponized the intel and justice systems against President Trump. He again framed that expected raid as part of a ‘revenge campaign’ President Trump is waging against his enemies… As opposed to the summation of legitimate investigations that follow the facts, according to this report from Newsmax: The famed deep state mole who in 2018 anonymously penned a high-profile op-ed describing himself as part of a “resistance” from inside the Trump White House, said Saturday he believes he will be the next target of federal investigators following the FBI raid on John Bolton’s home and office. Taylor, who later revealed himself as the anonymous author and wrote a book under the same pseudonym, has long feared a Donald Trump “revenge campaign” on the “blacklist” of White House deep state operatives. Notably, when President Trump was “hunted,” investigated and prosecuted, critics noted two standards for justice. FBI Director Kash Patel noted there is just one that is bringing about a boomerang on anti-Trump forces. “No one is above the law,” Patel posted on X amid the FBI’s raid of Bolton’s home. But there is a difference between the politically motivated raids and investigations we’ve seen for years, and what we’re seeing now: FACTS. And the willingness to go for an indictment not for the mere spectacle of the thing, knowing that even without a conviction the political purposes desired might still be served via the friendly media… But instead, to go for the indictment based on INDICTABLE EVIDENCE, and a solid case of injustices — to eventually be put on transparent display before the American people. Not forever hidden behind the curtains of DC insiders and a media that curates what it will — and what it won’t — reveal to the American people. For once, I agree with this particular Deep State mole. He very well may be the next stop for an FBI task unit. And in the interest of full disclosure, I must confess — I’ll report the entire thing with a smile on my face, and a warm fuzzy feeling deep in my heart, when it happens.
