Boy Caught Walking On Monorail Track In Harrowing Footage, But Bystander Saves The Day!

No matter how diligent a parent is while watching their kids, anything can happen in the blink of an eye. A family of three was reminded of this during their recent trip to Hersheypark. At some point, the little boy and his parents got separated from one another. Once it was clear the parents needed help, they reached out to park officials, who began to search for him. Meanwhile, the young boy wandered the park. Eventually, he found his way to Hersheypark’s popular monorail ride. Because it was closed for the day, the opening to this area was safeguarded by a chained closure. Still, the little boy found his way inside and, eventually, found a way to walk on the monorail itself. That means he was nearly 100 feet in the air. Video below shows the harrowing moment guests attempted to direct the boy where to go. In the end, however, more direct action had to be taken… When a Little Boy Finds His Way on the Monorail at Hersheypark, Brave Strangers Swoop in to Save the Day The crowd was, understandably, distraught over the child walking in such a dangerous area. Unfortunately, it seems their attempts at helping may have overwhelmed the kid. At one point, he stops walking all together and can even be seen covering his ears. Thankfully, brave strangers found their way to the monorail and saved the day! As soon as park officials caught wind of this successful rescue mission, they helped reunite the boy with his undoubtedly grateful parents. “We are grateful for the vigilance of our guests and the swift response of our team, and we remain committed to maintaining the highest levels of guest safety throughout Hersheypark,” officials said in a statement.
