Some people are just ungrateful. This weekend, pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter headlined the 2025 Austin City Limits festival, and she brought out a very special guest in Shania Twain, who joined her for a performance of her 1997 hit “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Sabrina just released a new album Man’s Best Friend, which features hits like “Manchild,” and more, so I’m sure you’ve heard of her at some point, even if you’re not overly familiar with her music. And while current pop music isn’t really my thing, I do like Sabrina and enjoy a lot of her stuff. I’ll be honest, I tend to really enjoy it when she does something country like this. Sabrina has actually collaborated with Dolly Parton before, and she clearly has a love for country music, so it was only fitting that she bring out Shania while in Texas, but I’m not exactly sure the crowd realized how awesome of a surprise guest she was. Several videos have gone viral on TikTok, Sabrina’s one of the biggest artists in the world right now and obviously Shania is a legend, so it should’ve made for a massive moment… but I’m not sure it translated for whatever reason. The crowd shots during this performance looked lackluster at best, they weren’t loud at all, and many in the comments in the below videos pointed that out.
