Liana is the kind of friend that everyone should have: She is funny, wild, and probably absolutely insane. She exemplified all of those traits during a recent paragliding adventure. She went on a tandem paragliding ride, meaning she was strapped in with an experienced person, or pilot. Being nervous will make people talk, sing, or just act silly. Another possibility is that Liana is just that way. Based on some of her posts, there is evidence to support that stance also. It doesn’t really matter how she ended up doing the paragliding performance. What does matter is that Liana seems to be having a great adventure floating in the air. She is all smiles in every image and video from the experience. She was somewhat distressed that the pilot would not allow her to handle the controls, but there are probably rules forbidding that. You strap into a harness beneath a wing-like piece of cloth that “parachutes” and “glides” you softly to earth. It is like floating on air. The sport began in the 1950s with the development of steerable parachutes. It blends parachuting with hang gliding.
