PLOT TWIST: Nobel Peace Prize Winner Dedicates Prize to President Trump!

The Nobel Peace Prize winner has been announced. And, of course, the Committee snubbed President Trump to instead give the award to Venezuelan peace activist Maria Corina Machado. But, in a huge twist, Machado immediately dedicated the prize to President Trump! Take a look: The Nobel Peace Prize Committee awarded it to a Venezuelan peace activist today, and you know what she did? We are on the threshold of victory and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to achieve Freedom and democracy. I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause! This is so awesome. I bet that’s the Nobel Peace Committee was expecting! Reuters has more: Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado won the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for fighting dictatorship in the country and dedicated the award in part to U.S. President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly insisted he deserved it. Machado, a 58-year-old industrial engineer who lives in hiding, was blocked in 2024 by Venezuela’s courts from running for president and thus challenging President Nicolas Maduro, who has been in power since 2013. “Oh my God … I have no words,” Machado told the secretary of the award body, Kristian Berg Harpviken, in a phone call which the Nobel Committee posted on social media. “I thank you so much, but I hope you understand this is a movement, this is an achievement of a whole society. I am just one person. I certainly do not deserve it,” she added. Don’t get me wrong: after ending eight wars in a single year, President Trump absolutely deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize. But, in many ways, this is even better than President Trump outright receiving the award himself. Honestly this is almost better than Trump getting it. Her dedicating it to Trump and by doing so, giving a gigantic middle finger to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee… …yeah, that’s even better than Trump getting it Hats off to Maria. — Matt Van Swol (@matt_vanswol) October 10, 2025 What are your thoughts?
