The UNECESSARY Reason President Trump was Snubbed by the Norwegian Nobel Committee

If you haven’t heard the news, the Nobel Peace Prize was shockingly NOT awarded to President Trump today. Despite the crescendo of calls touting the extreme peace-making accomplishments of President Trump throughout the 9 months of his current term… Despite ending a total of 8 wars, including the Gaza conflict between Hamas and Israel… The Nobel Committee did not see fit to award him the prized honor. It might even be more accurate to say they didn’t consider him to BE ‘fit’ for the prize, peace work aside. Judging by the remarks made by the Chair of the Nobel Prize Committee following this morning’s award announcement, President Trump never stood a chance. Just listen to the response (and even the phrasing of the question to begin with) given by the Nobel Price Chair Jorgen Frydnes when he was asked directly why they surprisingly chose NOT to award the price to President Trump: Nobel Committee Chair Jørgen Watne Frydnes defends not giving Trump of prestigious award https://t.co/9evZNu4AFn pic.twitter.com/zJYQplOiLJ — New York Post (@nypost) October 10, 2025 According to the Chairman of the Nobel Prize Committee, President Trump’s enormous success in stopping wars and bringing peace to millions wasn’t enough. In his own words, Jorgen Frydnes insinuated that President Trump was lacking the ‘courage and integrity’ necessary to be a legitimate contender for the Nobel Prize. However, a certain amount of poetic justice did just come to light following that snub. The opposition leader standing in opposition to Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorial rule in Venezuela — who DID receive the award — just dedicated it to President Trump! Benny Johnson broke that news and quoted her statement made on X: NEW: Nobel Peace Prize winner María Corina Machado praises President Trump and dedicates her award to him: “We are on the threshold of victory — and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the… pic.twitter.com/ZfhLwZKkGu — Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) October 10, 2025 Here’s the full text of that post in case that is hard to read: “We are on the threshold of victory — and today, more than ever, we count on President Trump, the people of the United States, the peoples of Latin America, and the democratic nations of the world as our principal allies to achieve freedom and democracy.” I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause.” Apparently the timing of the award may have technically played into President Trump being skipped over. But then, why the unnecessary snub? The technical timing of President Trump’s nomination and the work he has recently done in the way of peace work actually didn’t line up well with THIS year’s award. But again, if that is the case… why didn’t they just say THAT. Apparently, they simply think President Trump isn’t ‘Noble enough’, according to the New York Post: Not Nobel enough? The head of the Nobel Peace Prize tried to justify not giving the award to President Trump early Friday — subtly suggesting the commander-in-chief was not worthy of the illustrious award despite his historic breakthroughs seeking the end of the Israel-Hamas war. However, the deadline for nominations was Jan. 31 — just days into Trump’s second term in office — meaning all nominations Trump has earned this year for settling conflicts across the world are for the 2026 prize. Still, instead of pointing out the timing, Frydnes suggested that a last-minute switch wasn’t made because the US leader doesn’t live up to it. While the five-member Norwegian Nobel Committee made its decision on Monday, many of the president’s allies made a last-minute pitch to have Trump win the award after he brokered a peace deal between Israel and Hamas days later. Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu was among them, sharing an AI image of Trump with an award around his neck on Thursday with the caption: “Give @realDonaldTrump the Nobel Peace Prize – he deserves it!” President Trump may have actually hinted at today’s snub less than 24 hours ago. Just yesterday the Norwegian Nobel Prize Committee’s neighbor in the Nordic region of the world enjoyed a sit-down with President Trump. Finland’s President discussed several topics in the Oval Office with reporters present, and you can bet the topic of who should get the Nobel award came up. While the Finish President sidestepped the question — President Trump clarified that his work getting peace deals over the last 9 months wasn’t about getting an award. Check out this clip of that moment, and see if you see what I see. He knows they would never give it to him in a million years!  Am I wrong?: And he said as much — that they would never give him the Nobel Peace Prize — even more plainly almost a month ago. Check out THIS clip.  This is from an Associated Press video report on YouTube back when the President hosted Azerbaijan and Armenian leaders at the White House for — WAIT FOR IT — another historic peace deal. He knew it then… there’s nothing he could do that would ever lead to the Norwegian Nobel Peace Price Committee handing him that award: Instead, they gave it to someone who has admittedly stood against a dictator responsible for plenty of bloodshed and turmoil in his own country. But… does that compare with the enormous global impact President Trump has had on the balance of peace in the WORLD? Not according to the Nobel Prize Committee, as reported by The Daily Mail: Donald Trump was today snubbed by Nobel Peace Prize judges – who instead awarded the coveted prize to a Venezuelan politician, despite the President brokering peace in Gaza. The Nobel Committee selected opposition leader María Corina Machado for this year’s award. She was honoured ‘for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy,’ said Jorgen Watne Frydnes, the chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee in Oslo. The US President’s name, heavily floated in the media in recent weeks, did not make the final cut. Speculation he could win the award this year began after he brokered the historic peace agreement between Israel and Hamas to end the two-year war in Gaza. Machado was lauded for being a ‘key, unifying figure in a political opposition that was once deeply divided – an opposition that found common ground in the demand for free elections and representative government,’ said Frydnes. ‘In the past year, Miss Machado has been forced to live in hiding. Despite serious threats against her life, she has remained in the country, a choice that has inspired millions. ‘When authoritarians seize power, it is crucial to recognise courageous defenders of freedom who rise and resist,’ he said. President Nicolás Maduro’s government routinely targeted its real or perceived opponents ahead of last year’s presidential election. Machado was set to run against Maduro, but the government disqualified her. Edmundo González took her place. He had never run for office before. The crackdown on dissent only increased after the country’s National Electoral Council, which is stacked with Maduro loyalists, declared him the winner despite credible evidence to the contrary. If it wasn’t for the fact that President Trump DOES exist and DID accomplish so much — I’d lean towards agreeing that the Venezuelan opposition leader probably is a good choice for a winner! Just listen to Jorgen go into all the details he says put her at the top of the short list of candidates. But while you listen… keep in mind just the most recent peace agreement President Trump just reached with Israel, Hamas, and multiple Mideast players: “We want to send a message to all authoritarian leaders: choose ballots, not bullets.” Jørgen Watne Frydnes, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, shares insights into the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize and tells us why Maria Corina Machado was awarded the prize: “She is an… pic.twitter.com/5PfsZK0pUU — The Nobel Prize (@NobelPrize) October 10, 2025 I get it — she’s really in a tough fight against a truly dangerous authoritarian dictator! But… Trump!? Are you kidding me? In terms of GLOBAL PEACE, the two situations don’t even compare. President Trump absolutely nailed the truth in that clip from last month when he said outright that nothing he could ever do would convince them to award him that prize. Nothing.  Ever. But like all true heroes of freedom, they don’t do it for some worldly prize — exactly as President Trump summed up in that Associated Press video report. Those kinds of people just do what they do… because it’s the right thing to do. Not to please some Norwegian activist sitting atop some lofty self-described ‘peace’ organization, unable to keep his own TDS under wraps. Your thought?
