Capitalism Selling Anti-Capitalism — Only at Target
Target is usually a bellwether for whatever socially destructive fad the cultural anarchists want you to buy into next. Think: baby onesies glorifying “wino mommies,” toddler clothes pushing trans ideology, and now—Das Kapital.
Karl Marx’s original manual for anti-capitalism is being featured in Target’s fall ads in English translation. That’s kind of funny right? One of the world’s most recognizable capitalism brands—selling Das Kapital.
Shall we hazard a guess as to why?
Because the more people equate government control with compassion, the easier it becomes to sell tyranny as kindness. The goal isn’t to educate; it’s to indoctrinate, one trendy bookshelf at a time.
No one’s arguing that Marxist texts should be banned. But let’s be honest: Target isn’t selling these books with an aim to give its clientele a balanced view of economics. If they were, they would put the Collected Works of Thomas Sowell front and center but of course they won’t.
