Not Something You See Every Day: Man Takes “Pet Rooster” To Yoho National Park
Kirsty McHale visited Yoho National Park in Canada, and she saw something that will puzzle her until the end of time. There atop the Natural Bridge stood a man taking pictures. While that isn’t unusual, the subject of his photo session was. It looked like he had his pet rooster and was posing it in front of the falls.
She began recording the scene because no one would believe her without video evidence. She was able to zoom in fairly well, and it was indeed what appeared to be a rooster. Although after zooming up close, she noted that the animal wasn’t moving. Perhaps not a live pet, but maybe a taxidermied favorite rooster.
@kirstyymchale Who is this man and his pet rooster? I need to see how these pictures turned out #fyp #viral #rooster ♬ Free Bird – MOONLGHT
After posting the video, comments streamed in with speculation about the “pet rooster.” People noted that the feathers did move in the breeze. Someone mentioned that no chicken on the planet would stand that still for that long.
No one has been able to identify the man, but the curiosity is creating quite a buzz on TikTok. One commenter mentioned that the man might be a taxidermist working on his portfolio. That explanation makes more sense than many of the other suggestions. When you are in a trade where appearance matters, having an impressive portfolio can significantly enhance your business potential.
The man was taking care to get several angles, at varying distances. Since the animal doesn’t appear poseable, he was moving around to get different shots and work with the available lighting.
With no way to find out the man’s identity, some questions will never have answers. However, if you enjoy content like this, please follow Kirsty on TikTok. She is an adventurer with a wide variety of content showcasing beautiful scenery.
