Treaty Oak Revival Announces New Album ‘West Texas Degenerate’

LET’S GO! Treaty Oak Revival must be riding a high after earning a handful of new RIAA certifications, including both of their records going gold, so they decided it was time to give fans some more new music to turn into gold and platinum singles. Recently, both No Vacancy and Have A Nice Day officially went RIAA gold. Their singles “Happy Face” and “See You In Court” were also given gold certifications. And as if that wasn’t enough good news, “In Between,” “Ode To Bourbon,” “Stop And Stare,” and “No Vacancy” have all earned platinum certifications. Treaty Oak was even shocked by this news, calling it “insanity.” Insanity https://t.co/cxnRaRtrw7 — Treaty Oak Revival (@TreatyOakMusic) October 27, 2025 So how are they celebrating? By announcing a brand-new record. And it’s coming SOON. “West Texas Degenerate 11/28/25” “West Texas Degenerate” the album. 11/28/25. The West Texas rockers promised fans a record this year, but given that we are in the final stretch of 2025, many feared their timeline had been pushed back. At the start of 2025, the group shared an image of themselves in the studio working on their third LP. “So it begins #album3.” So it begins #album3 pic.twitter.com/pbPPwZPAZF — Treaty Oak Revival (@TreatyOakMusic) January 6, 2025 At the time this photo was shared, it was a little over a year since the release of their sophomore record, Have A Nice Day, which captivated existing fans and attracted many fans to the group. Have A Nice Day was released two years after their debut album, No Vacancy, but the boys were not dilly-dallying during those two years; they spent it all working on Have A Nice Day, making sure it was perfect. “10 songs 2 years in the making, and we are very proud of this one.” To say they threw down on this record is an understatement. From deep cuts like “Chasing My Tail” to rip-roaring anthems like “See You In Court,” this album told a complete story from top to bottom. Fans were hoping new music would come near spring or summer, given the January teaser, but the months kept passing, and there was no announcement of an album or any other information about its status. Fans then became nervous that they would not get a new TOR album in 2025 after the sudden departure of their bass player, Andrew Carey. Carey took to social media to share the following message: “It’s with a heavy heart that I share this news. After five incredible years of playing and sharing unforgettable moments with you, I must step away from Treaty Oak Revival.  Touring and rocking a little too hard has done a number on my back, body and mind. I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support, enthusiasm, and kindness throughout this journey. You’ve been more than just fans; you’ve been a family to me. The memories we’ve created together will always hold a special place in my heart.  Although this chapter is ending, I’m hopeful for what the future holds, and hope to stay connected with you in any way I can. Thank you for everything.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Andrew Carey (@bassist_from_space) Given that Carey was a huge part of the band, many wondered if they would take some time for themselves after his announcement. However, just days before announcing West Texas Degenerate, they reconfirmed to fans that they were keeping their promise of a new album in 2025. Yes, ya mfer! https://t.co/XemSotTIHJ — Treaty Oak Revival (@TreatyOakMusic) October 25, 2025 Keeping their promise. You love to see it. I can’t wait to hear what Treaty Oak Revival has for us on West Texas Degenerate. I know that I will be posted up, still full from Thanksgiving, happy as can be to listen to this record on November 28th.The post Treaty Oak Revival Announces New Album ‘West Texas Degenerate’ first appeared on Whiskey Riff.
