“It Only Hurts A Little” – Gavin Adcock Shows Off Gnarly Bruise From Falling Off Stage During Winnipeg Show
Winnipeg stage: 1 Gavin Adcock: 0.
Gavin Adcock is recovering from a gnarly fall that occurred on October 29, while performing at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Adcock was in the middle of performing “Deep End” (ironic, right?) when it appeared that he was trying to walk over to a side portion of the stage. Adcock was watching where his feet were going, and it’s hard to tell whether he was trying to step onto this side piece or to walk down to get closer to the crowd.
However, despite his best efforts not to take a misstep, Adcock failed and came crashing down. It appears that Adcock hit his head in some capacity, leading his cowboy hat to fall off. But Adcock did not let the fall jar him, and he kept going like a champ. He literally fell off the “Deep End”…

It appeared that Adcock would be left with a large bruise and, if he did hit his head, a headache. Thankfully, his ego was not too bruised as he responded to the now viral post:
“It happens.”
Most artists, when they fall, want to move on and forget the moment, but Adcock has no filter and is giving the people what they want — an up close and personal look at the damage from Winnipeg.
“A lot of y’all saw me bust my a** on stage the other night. So just wanted to show y’all the results of that.”
Adcock says to the camera as he pulls up his robe to reveal a massive bruise on the outside portion of his thigh. The significant mark is all sorts of shades of green and purple, and it looks painful. However, it must look worse than it feels because Adcock then gives it a slap, in what I’d assume is a gesture to prove to fans that there is nothing to worry about.
Adcock added in the caption of the post:
“It only hurts a little.”

No matter how bad it hurts, it looks like a very gnarly result of the fall. However, Adcock handled the moment with grace and hardly missed a beat of “Deep End” like a true professional. At least the bruise was the worst part of the damage, and it wasn’t anything more serious.
This isn’t Adcock’s first fall on stage, and it will probably be far from his last. Adcock once shared another clip of him absolutely biting the dust from slipping on stage and joked that no one can recover from a fall like his.
Words spoken from a true champion.
