What if that man were Sam Rockwell? Based on the new trailer for Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, the odds might tip a little more in his favor (at least for me). In Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, Rockwell appears in what is presumably his ptast to warn about the terrible future awaiting humanity. This future features a very bad AI and has something to do with addictive screen time and teens turning into screen zombies. While that is hardly the most original concept, the details here are what make the trailer work: The creepy-bright children’s birthday party that turns into a lot of screaming; the alarming misfit toys; and the very, very large hoof that appears toward the very end. I don’t know how we get from screen zombies to giant horses, but I need to know. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is an odd movie to come from director Gore Verbinski, who is better known as the man behind Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl and The Lone Ranger. But once upon a time he was directing Bad Religion and L7 videos. Perhaps this constitutes a return to his roots? The screenplay is by Matthew Robinson, whose curious resume includes everything from Dora and the Lost City of Gold to Love and Monsters to The Invention of Lying, which he co-wrote and directed with star Ricky Gervais. In Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, Rockwell is joined by an appealing cast that includes Haley Lu Richardson (The White Lotus), Michael Peña (Ant-Man), Zazie Beetz (Bullet Train), Asim Chaudhry (The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin), Tom Taylor (House of the Dragon), and Juno Temple (Ted Lasso). This particular battle for the future begins in theaters February 13, 2026.[end-mark] The post Sam Rockwell Saves Us From AI in Trailer for Gore Verbinski’s Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die appeared first on Reactor.
