But Ronald and the gang took that from us more than 20 years ago. Yes, some of us are pretty bitter. We will give it to McDonald’s, though. They bring back favorites, like the McRib, for limited-time promotions, and now is the time. Just ahead of the holiday season, McDonald’s announced on its menu spotter that the sandwich is back. The McRib is only for a limited time and right now, it is available in select cities. McRib— McDonald's (@McDonalds) November 11, 2025 McDonald’s Announced The McRib Will Be In Select Cities To Start McDonald’s shared that the McRib will be available in Miami, Dallas, Cleveland, St. Louis, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and other cities for a limited time. It will be available at all participating stores on November 17. “OG McRib fans know every juicy detail: seasoned boneless pork, dipped in signature tangy BBQ sauce, and topped with slivered onions and tangy pickles. All of it comes together on a toasted bun to create a true moment of BBQ pork sandwich perfection,” McDonald’s shared. “So, whether you’re a seasoned McRib aficionado or a curious first timer, now’s your chance to check your local McDonald’s to see if the McRib is headed to a restaurant near you.” Of course, McDonald’s also had to share the return of an icon on social media. On X, the chain simply put, “McRib.” And fans went wild. “Life is worth living again,” a fan shared. “No more even needs to be said! My hubby got his first one of the season yesterday,” another person wrote. “My husband will be thrilled. I like to surprise him with one when he doesn’t know they’re back,” a happy customer shared.
