A bipartisan group of House lawmakers has sent a letter to online commerce platform Shein, expressing concern that its website was used to facilitate the sale of childlike sex dolls in the U.S.
The letter, obtained by The Hill, was sent Wednesday to Shein CEO Yangtian “Chris” Xu. It was signed by 34 lawmakers 29 Republicans and five Democrats — led by Florida Reps. Vern Buchanan (R) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D).
