Tren de Aragua was designated as a foreign terrorist organization under President Trump’s administration. The raid involved multiple federal agencies, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI. “I can confirm that FBI San Antonio & Homeland Security Investigations San Antonio, along with their local, state, and federal partners are conducting court-authorized activity in the vicinity of the intersection of San Pedro Ave. and Basse Rd. in San Antonio, Texas,” said an FBI San Antonio Spokesperson. “Thanks to the brave work of DHS law enforcement and our federal partners, 150 illegal aliens including 27 suspected Tren de Argua gang members are off our streets,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “Law enforcement officers also seized weapons, drugs, and $35,000 during this operation targeting an underground nightclub. In response, Democrat lawmakers are “demanding answers” about the raid. “There are serious questions surrounding the ICE raid in San Antonio. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) said. “I am demanding answers from ICE and other agencies, alongside @RepCasar,” he added. There are serious questions surrounding the ICE raid in San Antonio.
