President Trump Explodes On Chicago Leaders After Released Criminal Brutally Burns Woman

Imagine getting called a “big fat slob” by the President of the United States! That’s what happened to Illinois Governor JB Pritzker on Tuesday. While speaking at the White House turkey pardon event, President Trump called out Illinois Democrats for being easy on crime after a man with a lengthy criminal history set a woman on fire in Chicago. Watch President Trump unload on the Illinois democrats below: Back up if needed: BREAKING: President Trump is LIVID about a 72-times arrested criminal being released by leftist judges to brutally BURN a woman in Chicago “The mayor is incompetent — and the governor is a big, fat SLOB!” pic.twitter.com/73mAf9Qb7s “They burned this beautiful woman riding… — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) November 25, 2025 USA Today reported more on President Trump’s call out of Democrats in Illinois: Presidential turkey pardons are typically light-hearted holiday affairs with lots of fowl puns before Thanksgiving. But President Donald Trump took his Nov. 25 pardons of Gobble and Waddle in a different direction as he used remarks in the White House Rose Garden to target two of his Democratic adversaries: former President Joe Biden and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. “The mayor is incompetent and the governor is a big fat slob,” Trump said as he blasted state and local opposition to Trump’s efforts to deploy the National Guard to Chicago. “He ought to invite us in and say, ‘Please make Chicago safe.’” Trump later teased that he originally had a “Pritzker joke” in his prepared remarks, but opted not to leave it out because he gets so angry when he talks about the governor. “I’m not going to tell my Pritzker joke,” Trump said. “I have a very cute little joke. Some speechwriter wrote some joke about his weight. I would never want to talk about his weight. I don’t talk about people being fat. I refuse to talk about the fact that he’s a fat slob. I don’t mention it.” The president added: “I’d like to lose a few pounds, too, by the way.” The Trump administration sent National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon and Chicago last month as part of his national crackdown on illegal immigration and crime in Democratic-led cities. However, the Pentagon withdrew troops last week as pending lawsuits challenge their deployment. In his turkey-pardon remarks, Trump said Chicago can be like Washington DC as he hailed efforts to deploy the National Guard in the nation’s capital to bring down crime. The president then made a categorically false claim that Washington DC has gone from having one or two homicides a week to no murders in six months. Homicides are down 29% in 2025 from 2024, according to Metropolitan Police Department in DC, but there have still been 123 murders this year. Just last week, the DC police announced an investigation into a shooting death that occurred Nov. 19. Here’s the mugshot of the criminal Trump was referring to: Lawrence Reed doused a woman in fuel and set her on fire on a Chicago train. As the woman burned, he screamed: “Burn alive b*itch!” He has been arrested 72 times in Cook County and prosecuted 13 times. Those that set him free must be held responsible. pic.twitter.com/eYSqnb1s7Z — Frank McCormick (@CBHeresy) November 19, 2025 The New York Post identified the victim who was brutally burned: The 26-year-old woman who cops said was set on fire by a lunatic with a lengthy rap sheet on a Chicago L train earlier this month has been identified as Bethany MaGee. “It is devastating that a career criminal with 72 PRIOR ARRESTS is now accused of attacking 26-year-old Bethany MaGee on Chicago’s L train, and setting her on fire,” US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said on social media Sunday. “This would never have happened if this thug had been behind bars. Yet Chicago lets repeat offenders roam the streets,” Duffy said of suspect Lawrence Reed, 50, who is facing federal terrorism charges in connection with the senseless fire attack. “Chicago’s carelessness is putting the American people at risk. No one should ever have to fear for their life on the subway,” Duffy said, lambasting the Windy City’s soft-on-crime policies that let a dangerous convicted felon roam free.
