President Trump confirmed Tuesday that he would "rather not" keep enhanced Obamacare subsidies that are set to expire at the end of this year after rumors swired that the White House was about to pitch a two-year extension. Instead, Trump called for sending money meant for the Affordable Care Act premium tax credits directly to Americans so they can pick their own health plan. "Somebody said I want to extend them for two years. I don't want to extend them for two years. I'd rather not extend them at all," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to his Mar-a-Lago resort.
