Charles Wesley Godwin Announces 2026 ‘Christian Name’ Tour
Hittin’ the road.
With names like Zach Bryan, The Red Clay Strays, Sturgill Simpson, Treaty Oak Revival, Eric Church and more being lauded for their electric performances night in and night out, there’s stiff competition in the genre. Throw in some more underrated names such as Silverada, Turnpike Troubadours and Sierra Ferrell, and the list gets even more complicated.
Another name that should always be at the top of these rankings is none other than Charles Wesley Godwin, and luckily, after closing out 2025 on the road with Church on the Free the Machine Tour, he’s hitting the road again in 2026 on a short but sweet set of dates to begin the first half of the year.
Just announced, Godwin and the Allegheny High will embark on the Christian Name Tour beginning in the spring.

Interestingly, the tour will begin for Godwin and Co. with back-to-back nights on March 27th in Boise, Idaho, and Salt Lake City, Utah, as they wrap up their supporting role with the Turnpike Troubadours on their Wild America Tour, which recently got extended into 2026 last month.
From there, Godwin will headline the likes of Little Rock, Arkansas, Oxford, Mississippi, Atlanta, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, throughout the month of April with support from the severely underrated, Jason Scott & The High Heat.
Finally, the Christian Name Tour will wrap up with two major festivals, first with Stagecoach at the end of April and finally with the star-studded, Under The Big Sky Festival, which is being headlined by Chris Stapleton, Cody Jinks and Zach Top.
Presale for Godwin’s headlining dates starts next Thursday, December 11th at 10 a.m. CT with general sale beginning on Friday, December 12th at the same time. Additionally, if you sign up for a presale code on Godwin’s website, you’ll automatically be entered to win a free pair of tickets to the selected show.
As one of the most talented bands in the entire genre, there’s no denying that Godwin and the Allegheny High put on one of the best live shows in the entire genre. Between the high energy tracks such as “Hardwood Floors,” “All Again” and “Another Leaf” to his tender ballads, “Willing and Able,” “Seneca Creek” and “Dance in Rain,” the West Virginia native has continually curated one of the most dynamic sets you’ll see live today. If he’s in your city, you won’t want to miss him.
