After Rob Reiner and his wife Michele viciously had their necks slit with a knife in Brentwood last night (NOTE: I seem to remember two other people getting their throats slit in Brentwood too if I remember correctly) old footage has re-emerged of Al Franken roasting Carl Reiner back in 2000, claiming that he used to repeatedly rape his son, Rob Reiner. I guess this stuff is funny to these people? Look, I get it, it’s a Friars Club Roast and the theme of these Roasts is to go over the top, but I don’t really see what the joke is here at all….do you? I’m not claiming any of this is real or truthful, but they do say comedy is often rooted in some level of truth and that’s where the humor comes from?
