Turning Point USA Releases AmFest 2028 Presidential Election Straw Poll Results
A straw poll for the 2028 presidential election taken at Turning Point USA’s AmFest showed Vice President JD Vance as the overwhelming favorite among attendees.
Vance won the poll with an astonishing 84.2 percent of the vote.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio tallied 4.8 percent, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis carried 2.9 percent.
“JD Vance won the 2028 nomination straw poll by more than Donald Trump won the 2024 one we did two years ago,” said Blake Neff, producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show.”

Fox News has more:
Andrew Kolvet, a spokesman for TPUSA, told Fox News Digital that the poll portrays a clear picture of the state of the conservative movement.
From the responses, Kolvet said it is clear that “the movement is all-in for JD Vance in 2028, winning the most support in the history of our poll.”
Kolvet explained, “There are bright dividing lines in the conservative movement right now, so we wanted to get clarity on where the base is on these hot-button issues in Turning Point Action’s official AmericaFest 2025 straw poll.”
“We wanted to get a real read on where the base is at after Charlie’s assassination, and a few things really jump off the page,” he said.
The most popular Trump administration accomplishment amongst conference attendees was securing the border, with nearly 60% of respondents answering this, while 22.2% of respondents answered deportations.
Neff shared additional details from the straw poll.
“Trump’s Cabinet is very popular. Pam Bondi is the only member to have disapproval in the double digits, with about 29% having a negative view,” Neff said.
“The poll asked a question about how attendees view Israel. Despite a lot of noise online (and some on-stage), only 13% believe that Israel is not an ally of the United States,” he added.

“Voter integrity laws remain a top concern of the base. Ending the Ukraine war finished dead last,” Neff continued.
“Ninety percent of respondents endorse an immigration moratorium for the U.S.,” he said.

“‘Radical Islam’ finishing as the #1 threat to America is a testament to Charlie, who was deeply concerned with that topic in the final months of his life,” Neff commented.
“Very few people were concerned about America’s low birthrate, though. They should be!” he noted.

The Post Millennial shared further:
Winning the midterms was a top concern of attendees, along with voter integrity and the affordability crisis. At the bottom was ending the war in Ukraine, redistricting, and holding sanctuary cities accountable. Attendees were also asked whether they would support a moratorium on new immigration to the United States, with 89.5 percent saying that they do.
When asked what the biggest threats facing America were, radical Islam finished in the top spot. This was followed by socialism and Marxism, mass migration, and the economy and affordability. At the bottom was technology and AI, low fertility, and lack of patriotism.
