Snoop Dogg’s Granddaughter is Finally Home After Nearly a Year in the NICU

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, gave birth to his granddaughter in February 2025 at 25 weeks. It was a tough time for the Broadus family, not knowing what the future would hold for the tiny baby. Cori and the baby’s father, Wayne Duece, kept the baby’s story mostly private. On December 15, Wayne shared a promising update on Instagram. “This isn’t what I planned. This isn’t what anyone prepares you for. But this is where I show up.. every night, every morning, even when we exhausted in ways sleep can’t fix. I’ve learned strength doesn’t always look brave. Sometimes it looks like staying. Sometimes it looks like sitting in silence and holding hope together with praying hands. Daddy Loves you Codi Dreaux, my strong girl!!” He wrote. Just a few weeks later, Cori shared even better news. Codi Dreaux is home. Other NICU parents empathized with Cori and Wayne’s pain and relief. “Being a five time NICU mom I know that’s one the best feeling being able to take your baby home,” a mom wrote. “I was just thinking about her a few days ago and here she is on my algorithm. We aren’t sure what Snoop Dogg has planned for his new granddaughter, but her Uncle Cordell Broadus posted the sweetest message. “On my way!!” He wrote.
