Alter Bridge’s Eighth Album Drops
Alter Bridge have released their self-titled eighth album. Produced longtime collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette, the album was recorded at the legendary 5150 studio and Elvis’s recording studio in Florida.
The set features the singles “Silent Divide,” which was the band’s first new music in two years, “What Lies Within” and “Playing Aces.”
“The term ‘Playing Aces’ ties in with the gambling analogy of risking everything regardless of how many times you’ve failed in life,” explained vocalist/guitarist Myles Kennedy. “It’s a last-ditch effort to come out on top.”
