Local Officials Call for Federal Forces to Leave Minneapolis Following Fatal Shooting

Local officials in Minneapolis called on federal forces to leave the city in a news conference on Wednesday afternoon after tensions flared when a woman was fatally shot during a confrontation with immigration agents. Mayor Jacob Frey, a Democrat, punctuated his call for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to get "out of Minneapolis" with an expletive, adding that the presence of the agents was sowing chaos in the city. "People are being hurt," he said. "Families are being ripped apart."
