Karley Scott Collins, a 26-year-old country singer and former child actress, has denied rumors that she’s in a relationship with Keith Urban following his split from his now ex-wife Nicole Kidman. According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, the relationship was even the reason his daughters are supporting their mother, Kidman, instead of their father in the divorce: “I hear he has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting Mom. People think they are even living together. Look, teen girls love their dads, so there’s a reason they’re making it three against one.” I mean, that sounds like some pretty weak evidence to begin with. “I hear” and “people think” doesn’t really seem like enough to base a story around, but whatever. But soon after the reports began spreading, Collins took to Instagram to publicly shoot them down, sharing a screenshot of one of the headlines on her story and calling it “absolutely ridiculous and untrue.” Urban and Kidman had been married for 19 years, but the split was just finalized this month, after Kidman first filed for divorce on September 30th, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple had been separated and living apart since the beginning of summer when Keith moved out. The rumor from several sources is that Kidman was trying to save the marriage, and that it was Urban who wanted out, though the couple themselves have generally remained tight-lipped on the personal situation. They share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman and Urban first met in 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles. Urban talked about his wife’s “otherworldly era,” saying he was incredibly nervous to talk to her and felt like he was meeting a “real life princess.” He eventually worked up the nerve to ask for her number, though it still took him a while to actually call her. Once he did, their connection was instant and the rest is history. They were married the following year in 2006: “I was trying to play it cool, but inside, I felt like I had snuck into the royal ball. Simply because Nic has such a truly otherworldly era about her, and I felt a bit like I was meeting a real life princess… and despite all of that, I did manage to get her phone number on a tiny piece of paper, and I carried that number in my pocket for well over a week. I’d pull it out and look at it… I was just scared. I was nervous to call her, and as prone as I might have been at the time to all sorts of delusional thinking, even I couldn’t stretch that to think this extraordinary would ever see anything in a guy like me. And that’s not me being humble, that’s literally how I saw myself and her. I did, as you’ve probably figured out, work up the courage to finally call her. We started talking, and we just talked and talked like we’d known each other our whole lives. It turned out that this mystic creature was really just a wide eyed, vivacious, giddy girl from the Sydney suburbs, and despite being born in Honolulu, she was utterly Aussie through and through.” According to the finalized divorce decree and parenting schedule, which was obtained by Whiskey Riff, Kidman’s home will be her daughters’ primary residence, as she has them for 306 days out of the year, and Urban was granted 59 days out of the year. Kidman has remained in their Nashville home since Urban moved out last year, and her daughters will continue to live there with her the majority of the time. Sources have previously said that there has been little drama in terms of when their daughters get to see each parent, and it sounds like the divorce has been as amicable as possible when it comes to the dissolution of a 19-year marriage. Both parents have joint responsibility for major decisions when it comes to their children, and neither spouse will receive alimony from the other.
