President Trump Announces He Had A “Very Good Conversation” With Mayor Jacob Frey
Earlier today, President Trump shocked most of us by announcing Tim Walz called him and they had a good conversation about wanting to work together.
That report here in case you missed it:

Now Mayor Jacob Frey has also spoken with President Trump and President Trump is again reporting a good conversation and good outcome.

I just had a very good telephone conversation with Mayor Jacob Frey, of Minneapolis. Lots of progress is being made! Tom Homan will be meeting with him tomorrow in order to continue the discussion. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
I'm going to once again say I agree with my friend BioClandestine on his take about what is going on here...
I don't trust either one of these rats but I do trust President Trump to believe he's holding all the right cards and making the appropriate moves:
Trump says he just had a “very good” conversation with Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
“Lots of progress is being made”.
Homan will be there tomorrow.
Not sure what the play is, but Trump holds all the cards. It’s just a matter of how he wants to play them. pic.twitter.com/FiOhvUn18v

Minnesotan Gov. Tim Walz has apparently called President Trump and asked to work together.
That comes directly from President Trump on TruthSocial.

Governor Tim Walz called me with the request to work together with respect to Minnesota. It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength. I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future. He was happy that Tom Homan was going to Minnesota, and so am I! We have had such tremendous SUCCESS in Washington, D.C., Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana, and virtually every other place that we have "touched" and, even in Minnesota, Crime is way down, but both Governor Walz and I want to make it better! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
I guess it's a good first step, but I don't really buy it.
How do you work together with someone that sends their state into anarchy? And (allegedly?) was either complicit in, or woefully negligent, in a criminal fraud ring that may have cost taxpayers tens or hundreds of billions of dollars?
You can't "work together" with someone like that!
I'm going to have to agree with BioClandestine on this one:
I’m not going to believe Walz actually capitulated to Trump, until Walz gets up on a podium and tells his constituents to stand down and stop obstructing federal law enforcement.
Until then, it’s just lip service.
