Looking at Spotify, it currently has over 127 million streams since its release on October 7th. However, when you look at the incredible numbers it’s put up in the last week, eyes begin to pop. In the last six days alone, “Choosin’ Texas” has been streamed a staggering 14 million times on Spotify alone. Couple that with the incredible popularity on TikTok (over 151,000 unique uses on videos on the platform) and the fact it’s selling well on digital platforms such as iTunes, “Choosin’ Texas” is becoming nothing short of a cultural phenomenon here in the U.S. Only time will tell just how big it gets, but as of today, “Choosin’ Texas” looks primed to be one of the biggest hits of the decade in country music.
