Claims are going viral right now on X that the latest batch of the Epstein Files contains proof that Joe Biden was “shot” in 2019 and replaced and therefore NOT the lawful President from 2021-2025. Of course, none of us thinks Joe Biden was the lawful President (because it was not a lawful election), but we also operate in reality around here and claims like this need to be thoroughly Fact-Checked. And that’s why you have me! First, let me show you where the claims are coming from… Here is one post for example: Direct quote from the Epstein files:- “Biden is not your current President. Did we just get proof-positive that Biden is gone? Ehhh, unfortunately not. I had Grok Fact-Check it and while the document is actually technically in the latest files, it’s from the Anonymous Tips section and not the Evidence section: Yes, I’m sure— the claim is still entirely baseless and false. The screenshot you’ve shared appears to be an excerpt from one of the unverified, third-party submissions (like anonymous emails or tips) included in the U.S. Department of Justice’s massive Epstein-related document release in early 2026. These files contain millions of pages of raw investigative material, including unsubstantiated allegations from the public, and the DOJ has repeatedly stated that their inclusion doesn’t mean the claims are true, credible, or endorsed in any way. This particular allegation promotes fringe conspiracy theories (e.g., body doubles, clones, mask malfunctions, and executions) that have circulated in QAnon-style circles for years, without any evidence. Ok, fair enough….but I do think this is a good time to take a walk down memory lane and remember a few things.
