Are you a Wendy’s superfan? If the answer is “yes,” your ship may be coming in. If you make the cut, the company will pay you $100K a year to be its official taste tester. Wendy’s posted the Chief Tasting Officer position on its social media accounts this week, hoping to nab a dedicated customer for the part. The job is a “dream,” according to its website. There is only “light” travel. You’ll simply go between “your local Wendy’s and/or the couch.” And all you need to qualify is “a human mouth. A pulse. Opinions. Creativity. Are you more about JBC than KPI?” Become Wendy’s Chief Tasting Officer—All You Need is a Human Mouth If all of that explains you, “you’re in luck.” You can quit your job and make a hundred grand to eat your favorite Wendy’s food, be “chill,” make some content, and star in some ads. To apply, just send them a video explaining why you’re the best person for the job. “Just hire me,” one fan begged. “Is this a ploy to get me to order Wendy’s? Because, shocker. It worked,” someone else joked. “So this is what it’s come to now ,” Wendy’s competitor, Jack in the Box, teased. “If elected, I will bring back the ghost pepper ranch for everyone xoxo also check your DMs,” a fan promised.
