Dearborn Media Outlet Pivots To Synagogue Attacker’s Recent ‘Family Tragedy’

A popular social media news page in Dearborn, Michigan, sparked outrage for a post on Thursday that focused on the Michigan synagogue attacker’s recent “family tragedy” just hours after the man rammed his vehicle into the largest Jewish Reform synagogue in the United States and opened fire with a rifle. TCD Dearborn News, which has over half a million followers on Instagram and 150,000 followers on Facebook, wrote that synagogue attacker Ayman Ghazali “recently experienced a family tragedy overseas” when two of his brothers and some of his nephews were killed in an Israeli air strike in Lebanon.
