Frank Castle Is Having a Pretty Bad Time in The Punisher: One Last Kill Trailer

News The Punisher Frank Castle Is Having a Pretty Bad Time in The Punisher: One Last Kill Trailer THIS one’s the last one. No, THIS one’s the last one. No … By Molly Templeton | Published on April 9, 2026 Screenshot: Marvel Entertainment Comment 0 Share New Share Screenshot: Marvel Entertainment Our first real look at Marvel’s “Special Television Presentation,” The Punisher: One Last Kill, continues to call into question the special’s title. At this point, it is unclear which of the many probable kills Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) performs in this trailer will be the mythical last one. Frank is generally not having a great time. He appears to be seeing visions, and when a spreading pool of flammable liquid nears him, he just stands there and lets it come. Regrets: he’s had a few. But there’s a little girl who needs help, and if there’s one non-murdery thing Frank Castle will repeatedly be called to do, it’s serve as a reluctant father figure. (Is he that reluctant? Hard to say. He looks grumpy about just about everything.) Marvel says that in this special, “Frank searches for meaning beyond revenge when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.” This is even vaguer than the trailer, which involves a good bit of walking, a lot of punching and shooting, and some haunted-man shenanigans. Bernthal co-wrote One Last Kill with director Reinaldo Marcus Green. The special arrives on Disney+ on May 12—a week after the second-season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, in which Frank supposedly does not appear. The Punisher will then appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, presumably without killing anyone.[end-mark] The post Frank Castle Is Having a Pretty Bad Time in The Punisher: One Last Kill Trailer appeared first on Reactor.
