Post Malone Just Teased His Next Era Of Music With A Very Explicit Promise
It seems like Post Malone is getting ready to drop a massive album.
Post started his country music journey with 2024’s massive, 27-song album, F-1 Trillion, which called upon some of the biggest stars, ranging from Hank Williams Jr. and Dolly Parton to Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen to Sierra Ferrell and Billy Strings.
Overall, it was pretty well-received, there was some good stuff there, and it’s become evident that Post is going to stick around in country for a while, though he of course got his start as a rap and pop star, and he’s released music that could honestly fit into any multitude of genres. He’s incredibly talented, and since released his aforementioned country album, Post has headlined huge festivals, opened his own bar on Broadway called Posty’s, and he’s really seemed to submerge himself into the Nashville culture.
But since we’re going on two years since he put out , fans have started to wonder if and when he might put out another country album, and he confirmed at the end of 2025 that he was hoping to release two records in 2026, adding that it’s his goal should “everything go my way”:
“Chances are, chat, we are getting two albums in 2026. If everything goes my way.”
He’s been relatively quiet since then, but earlier this month, Post dropped a huge hint about what might be in the works, taking to Instagram to share a picture of a blank tracklist for his upcoming album, titled The Eternal Buzz, with the simple caption:
“Coming soon.”
It looks to feature two albums, like he said, which each has 20 songs each, adding up to a whopping 40 songs in total:

It has become increasingly common for some of the genres biggest stars to drop extremely long albums, and Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem (37), Zach Bryan’s American Heartbreak (34), Luke Combs’ The Way I Am (22) all come to mind as premiere examples.
And a video of Posty has recently gone viral on TikTok, where a fan asked him if he would ever go back to rap, and Post played it coy, simply saying that he’s been in the studio working “very, very hard,” and that there’s a “lot of awesome f****** s***” coming soon:
“Well… I’ll tell you what, we’ve been in the studio working very, very hard. And there’s a lot of awesome f****** s***. That’s all I can say.”
It’s pretty much the most Post Malone way to ever explain something…
@etrxnlx Replying to @ i asked Posty if we would ever get a rap album again as well. here is his response. #fyp #postmalone #posty #postmaloneconcert #postmalonefans ♬ original sound – mahagony
As of now, there is no other information surrounding the album, and it’s not confirmed that this will be a country album, though I have to imagine it will be because he’s given no indication otherwise and the name The Eternal Buzz just sounds like a country album to me.
Post is also embarking on a huge stadium tour this summer, hitting large venues all over the country, so don’t be surprised if we get an album announcement, or even a few singles before he hits the road for his own tour starting in May (he does play a few festival before then).
