When you hear the word hero, what comes to mind? Do you think of someone big and strong who can lift a building with one finger? Maybe your idea of a hero is someone who flies with a long cape following. Perhaps you’re the kind who likes real heroes like doctors, nurses, and first responders. Today, we have another kind of hero we think you’ll fall in love with. There is nothing more heroic than trying to save an innocent animal from a dangerous situation. (@afterismm) He Stopped Traffic to Save the Ducks There was no way this hero wasn’t going to save these ducks from being run over. He got out of the car and ran into an intersection, stopping all traffic. Every single vehicle stopped to ensure the duck family’s safety. It was the kind of thing that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. “We need more ppl like him,” someone wrote. “we need to be like him.” Others decided that this is the kind of number they want to marry. This stranger just set a very high bar for many men. “If my man won’t help little duckies cross the road, then I don’t want him,” a follower wrote. “I did exactly this after mummy duck tried to get in a bank,no jokes about bills, and four of us guided her and her babies back to the river. Must be about 15/20 years ago. Got a photo somewhere,” another person commented. It only took a few seconds out of the day to potentially save a whole family of ducks.
