Trump Aides HACKED — Iran Holds 100GB Hostage…
Iran-linked hackers threaten to dump 100GB of stolen emails from President Trump’s inner circle, escalating foreign meddling in American sovereignty just as the administration battles deep state leaks.
Iranian Hackers Charged in Trump Campaign Breach
Federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., unsealed a 37-page indictment against three Iranian hackers on multiple counts including wire fraud, identity theft, and hacking conspiracy. The men, residing in Iran and linked to the IRGC’s Basij paramilitary branch, targeted Trump campaign associates starting May 23, 2024. They used spearphishing emails to access accounts, stealing documents and maintaining persistent unauthorized entry. This scheme aimed to interfere in the 2024 election by leaking materials to media and rivals.
Hackers Threaten Massive Email Dump
The group “Robert,” identified by U.S. officials as an IRGC front, threatens to release or sell nearly 100 gigabytes of stolen emails. These include communications from White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, lawyer Lindsey Halligan, adviser Roger Stone, and Stormy Daniels. The breach extends beyond emails, with Homeland Security warning of potential attacks on U.S. infrastructure like power grids, water systems, and defense contractors. FBI Director Kash Patel promises full prosecution of national security threats.
Historical Ties to U.S.-Iran Tensions
Hackers initiated operations as early as January 2020, following the U.S. drone strike killing IRGC General Qassem Soleimani. They previously targeted U.S. officials in the White House, Justice Department, Pentagon, and CIA. By June 2024, they accessed at least two Trump campaign-associated email accounts and attempted to distribute stolen materials. Microsoft reports detail evolving Iranian tactics to influence elections, confirming the Trump campaign as the primary target.
Trump’s campaign publicly attributed the hack to Iran in 2024, citing Microsoft research on spearphishing via compromised advisor accounts. The White House offered no immediate comment on related reports.
Administration’s Firm Response
The State Department announced a $10 million reward for information leading to the hackers’ capture. Treasury imposed sanctions on seven individuals connected to the operation. Attorney General Pam Bondi labeled it a serious cyberattack. CISA described the effort as digital propaganda to destabilize Trump allies. These measures reflect the administration’s commitment to counter foreign interference, protecting American elections and infrastructure from regimes hostile to U.S. interests.
Conservatives view this as another assault on national sovereignty, reminiscent of past deep state and foreign plots against Trump. The ongoing probe underscores the need for vigilance against globalist threats that erode constitutional protections and election integrity.
