Pinhead Gunpowder, featuring Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, will launch a fall 2026 North American tour in October. In addition to Armstrong, the band also has longtime Green Day touring guitarist Jason White, bassist Bill Schneider and drummer Aaron Cometbus.  The band’s name comes from a brand of “high octane” green tea served at the Arcata (a Northern California) co-op that was discovered by Cometbus. The band has released a handful of EPs this century with their most recent full-length album being “Unt,” which dropped in ’24. The set featured the title track.
