Liberal Protestor Re-Enacts Charlie Kirk’s Murder Outside Of TPUSA Event
A protest outside a Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio descended to new lows Sunday, after demonstrators staged a mock assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and were heard chanting that he “deserved to die.”
The incident unfolded outside the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit, an event hosted by Turning Point USA and led by CEO Erika Kirk, just days after reports of heightened security concerns, including threats directed at the organization’s leadership. Footage from the scene appears to show a protester wearing a papier-mâché mask resembling slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk collapsing onto the ground in a staged reenactment of his assassination, while other demonstrators shouted slogans and accusations at attendees gathered outside the venue, according to the New York Post.
In the same footage, individuals can be heard chanting that Kirk “deserved to die,” while a separate protester used a megaphone to accuse attendees of “protecting pedophiles” and “protecting Nazis,” escalating tensions between demonstrators and conference participants.

Inside the venue, Erika Kirk — who has assumed a leadership role at Turning Point USA following her husband’s murder — was also confronted by hecklers during the summit. Video from the event shows one attendee shouting at Kirk before being removed by security personnel.
During her remarks, Kirk responded by urging calm and calling for compassion even toward those who disrupted the event, telling attendees that individuals should be prayed for rather than met with hostility.
The protest activity came amid an already tense security environment surrounding the organization, including reports of prior threats against Erika Kirk and a separate arrest involving a 26-year-old man accused of making terroristic threats tied to the summit.
Law enforcement officials have not announced any charges directly connected to the protest reenactment itself, and it remains unclear whether any individuals involved in the mock assassination will face investigation. Authorities in San Antonio have not publicly detailed whether the conduct is being reviewed under statutes related to disorderly conduct, harassment, or threats.
Since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA and its allies have described incidents of protest as disturbing escalation, arguing that glorified depictions of political violence cross a line from protest into intimidation. Critics of the organization, meanwhile, have characterized demonstrations outside its events as a response to its rhetoric and political influence.
The incident highlights a broader pattern of heightened polarization surrounding campus-adjacent political activism, where demonstrations frequently blur the line between expressive protest and conduct that security experts say can rapidly destabilize public events.
As of this writing, neither Turning Point USA nor Erika Kirk has issued a formal public statement specifically addressing the reenactment incident. Law enforcement presence at the summit remained heightened throughout the weekend as the event continued under increased security protocols.
