Eric Church Will Once Again Be Livestreaming His Three Night Run At Red Rocks Next Month
Great news for the Church Choir.
Eric Church is heading back to Red Rocks on July 6-8 for a three night run celebrating the 20 years of music since his debut album, Sinners Like Me, was released back in 2006.
It will be the second year in a row for Church at the iconic venue in Morrison, Colorado, after a three-night run last year that featured three unique shows. The first night included Church with his entire band, orchestra and choir to celebrate the release of his Evangeline vs. the Machine album, while the second night was stripped back to just Church and his original band.
The third night, though, was the real magic as Church took the stage with just himself and his guitar (and midway through the show, his legendary background vocalist Joanna Cotten). Although it was pouring the rain the entire time, and at times I was concerned that I would need a boat to get out of the mountains, it was one of the most magical shows I’ve ever seen. As long as I live I will forever be chasing the high of those three shows (while also trying to dry out my shoes from that third night).
While there hasn’t been a ton announced about this year’s shows, Church has once again promised three unique shows for the three night run. And for fans who aren’t able to make it to Colorado, it’s just been announced that he will once again be livestreaming what’s guaranteed to be an incredible three nights of music.
The shows will once again be livestreamed on Nugs.net, allowing fans to watch the show from home on their computer, mobile, or via the nugs app on Roku, or Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV and other Android TV devices.
Fans can buy the HD livestream for $24.99 each night, or get a three-night bundle $59.99. A 4K livestream will also be available for $29.99 per night or $74.99 for the three-night bundle. And new users can get 50% off a single night stream, while also getting access to the nugs catalog of previous livestreams and concert experiences.
Members of the Church Choir fan club also received a discount code for $10 off the three night bundle, so check your emails if you’re a member of the Choir and want to stream the show.
I bought the livestreams last year after I got home for Red Rocks, and was blown away by the quality of the production. (No, this article isn’t sponsored and we have no affiliation with Nugs).
I’ll once again be in Colorado for the shows, so we’ll be bringing you plenty of content from Red Rocks during what’s sure to be another incredible three nights in the Rocky Mountains. But for fans who can’t be there, the livestream is a great alternative – although I wish they didn’t expire and you could go back to watch them at any time.
Regardless, if you’re not going to be there, go ahead and get that Nugs account created now. It’s going to be a must-watch for Church fans.
