Elitist Media ‘Embarrassed’ by ‘Failed Experiment’ America Led by ‘Tyrant’ Trump

This past month saw people from all over the world having their minds blown by the greatness of the U.S.A. From Asia to Africa, World Cup fans couldn’t get over the many benefits of living in America: air conditioning, free refills, barbecue, and Buc-ee’s. They realized their media had sold them the lie that this nation was a terrible place. This past month also saw the American elitist media repeat that same lie to their audiences. From Sunny Hostin whining that she was “embarrassed” by the “failed experiment” that is America to Robert De Niro griping that he “can’t love a country led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant,” these are just a few of the most obnoxious outbursts from leftist journalists and celebrities over the past month: [LANGUAGE WARNING]   Sunny Hostin: I’m “Embarrassed” by America, It Is a “Failed Experiment”    Sunny Hostin, who once said she was more comfortable in Ghana than America, says she's "embarrassed" by the country as America nears 250 and calls it a "failed experiment" in self governance: SUNNY HOSTIN: And so I think we have a very complicated history here. I think it's a… pic.twitter.com/gILwK0E8y8 — Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) June 5, 2026   “I am embarrassed at our government. I’m embarrassed at our lack of healthcare. I’m embarrassed on the assault on the press. I’m embarrassed of our Congress. I’m embarrassed by the criminal felon president that is in the Oval Office that has a UFC cage on the White House lawn. I’m embarrassed about all those things. And I’m also embarrassed at how America is now seen across the globe. I don’t think that many Americans understand that we are part of a wonderful global community. And when you look at our allies, our allies are now giving us a one-star rating as a country. Why I am conflicted about this country because I feel that it is, at this point, a failed experiment, quite frankly.”— Co-host Sunny Hostin on ABC’s The View, June 5.   Joy Reid: “Nobody Black” is “Excited About the Fourth of July”    “Nobody black I know is really excited about the Fourth of July. Because it is a, it is what Frederick Douglass said it is. It is the celebration of slaveholders who freed themselves from having to pay taxes to the Crown for their slave empire.” — Former MS NOW host Joy Reid on… pic.twitter.com/xHikICxBk9 — Geoffrey Dickens (@GCDickens) July 7, 2026   “Nobody black I know is really excited about the Fourth of July. And it comes about, I think that, that orientation follows from, from my own formation. I don’t think I’ve ever teared up around patriotism. I don’t ever think I found joy in singing the Star Spangled Banner.” — MS NOW’s Morning Joe, June 30.    America is a “White Republic” That “Takes the Form Where Greed and Selfishness and Grift and Hatred Overwhelm” “We’ve imagined ourselves at once as a beacon of freedom, and as a white republic. And that white republic takes the form where greed and selfishness and grift and hatred overwhelm, in so many ways, our attempt to overwhelm and overrun our most basic principles.”— Contributor Eddie Glaude on MS NOW’s Morning Joe, June 30.    CNN Celebrates America’s 250th Birthday: “There is a Slur” in the Declaration of Independence   Happy 4th of July! Don't watch CNN this weekend. pic.twitter.com/t61UJTMWWp — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) June 29, 2026   “There is a slur in America’s founding documents….a list of grievances against the king. A series of reasons the colonies wanted to split from the United Kingdom. And this is the final one. ‘He has excited domestic insurrections among us and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers the merciless Indian savages whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.’ ‘Merciless Indian savages.’ Words in the Declaration of Independence largely forgotten that line and Native Americans place in the celebrations of the 250 years since our nation’s founding.”— CNN anchor Victor Blackwell on CNN’s First of All, June 27, 2026.   “Donald” Is Now the New “Adolf” of Baby Names   “Well, Donald Trump has scored his lowest job approval rating yet in a Reuters poll at 34 percent. And we have what could be another measure of Donald Trump’s unpopularity and disapproval: baby names. Donald is the new Adolf. The baby name Donald has hit its lowest point in popularity in American history….Adolf dropped rather dramatically in popularity after Adolf Hitler executed six million Jewish people in death camps while he was losing World War II before he took his own life.”— Host Lawrence O’Donnell on MS NOW’s The Last Word, June 23.    Scott Pelley: Unlike Trump, I’ve Been in Combat for This Country   “I’ve never worn the uniform, but I’ve been in combat for this country. It can’t be done. And that is why I am a journalist.”— Former CBS 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley on The New York Times podcast with Lulu-Garcia Navarro, June 7.     “Tearing Down” of 60 Minutes is “Un-American” and is “Hurting This Country” “It is absolutely un-American. It is absolutely contrary to the values and ideals of this democracy. And - you know - I don’t see anybody else really saying this kind of stuff, so I’m going to say this, that what they are doing is damaging to this country. Bari Weiss, you are hurting this country when you try to tear down an institution like 60 Minutes.”— Jim Acosta on his Substack show, June 4.     Trump’s Name Being Removed from Kennedy Center is Like Fall of Berlin Wall “This is a giant waste of time, and it’s a sign of what a petulant man-child he [Donald Trump] can be. But as we’ve been saying all night long and all day long, for that matter, this is very much like watching the Berlin Wall coming down. It is a sign that mankind, that humankind can stand up against tyranny.”— Former CNN correspondent Jim Acosta live-streaming on his podcast The Jim Acosta Show, June 13.    UFC Fight is Degrading the White House   David Brooks reacts to the upcoming UFC fight at the White House, "I first thought of, like, who are the artists John F.
