What do you get for somebody who already has everything? End of tour gifts are pretty common in country music. Headliners usually get gifts for the artists who open for them: A custom guitar, a Rolex, or sometimes just cold hard cash. And sometimes opening acts will also get gifts for the artists who invite them out on the road: Earlier this year, Ella Langley revealed that she got Eric Church a unique gift after opening up for him on his Free the Machine Tour. “I randomly got him a pocket watch at an antique store. I gave it to him. It was like a pocket watch from the 20s, with a gold chain connected to a pocket knife. There was engraving on the back, and it was an ‘E.’ So that was cool.” Well Gavin Adcock is wrapping up his time with Morgan Wallen on his Still the Problem Tour, after opening for him on select dates this year and during his tour last year. It seems like the two have had a lot of fun together on the road, with Gavin even pranking Morgan during a recent show by bringing out a folding chair on stage – a clear nod to Morgan’s now-infamous incident at Chief’s on Broadway a couple years ago. @tippers86 If you know you know!! And it’s as wild as you would expect. As Gavin explained, it’s probably hard to buy a gift for somebody who can pretty much get anything they want. So the “Run Your Mouth” singer decided to go with something a little more unique…and it’s safe to say he managed to find something that Morgan probably doesn’t already have in his house. He got Morgan a taxidermied deer’s hind end, complete with eagle claws, turkey feet, and bull horns – oh, and there are teeth in the a*s to turn it into a mouth. But I have a feeling that after getting to know Gavin over the past couple years, he was probably expecting something off-the-wall like that. Never a dull moment between these two. Though Gavin won’t be out on the road with him any more this summer, Morgan still has a few dates left on his Still the Problem Tour before it wraps up in Philadelphia next month, including two stops at the Big House in Michigan before two dates at the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. And if any of the openers for those shows are planning on getting him a gift, I hope they find something as good as this one from Gavin.
