Meet Alec Neel Vance! On Sunday, Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha welcomed their newborn son into this world. Fox News reported: It has been less than a week since the baby was born. “We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother,” the second couple first announced in a statement on Sunday. “The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing. We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family,” the statement added. Usha Vance just shared the family’s first photos with their newest addition, and boy, are they cute! Newsweek provided some background: The last vice president to welcome a child while in office was Schuyler Colfax, whose son was born in 1870. The birth comes six months after the Vances announced in January that they were expecting another son. Alec joins older siblings Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and 4-year-old Mirabel. At 40, Usha Vance belongs to the fastest-growing group of mothers in America.
