I think we can all see who controls Greta
"Anti-democratic": Norwegian criticism of Greta

EXCERPT. Greta Thunberg is now receiving harsh criticism in Norway, where she is accused of luring other climate activists in an extremist and anti-democratic direction, NRK reports.
Greta Thunberg held a demonstration on Friday in connection with the Glasgow climate summit, claiming that the meeting was a fiasco "full of empty talk".
She called the conference a "greenwashing" festival and accused politicians of just engaging in "blah blah blah" and pretending to be committed instead of doing something about the "climate".
The tone has prompted a reaction from Norway's Social Democratic Climate Minister Espen Barth Eide, among others.
- When you say that politics has no meaning, then we're on a bit of a dangerous course. I believe that the strong and rational commitment to make something happen must be transformed into political action - not into rejecting the whole idea of democratic political change," says Barth Eide.
Aftenpost political editor Kjetil B. Alstadheim goes further in his criticism of Greta's rhetoric and how it may affect other climate activists.
"She risks leading them into something authoritarian, anti-democratic and downright dangerous. Her rhetoric is just a shrug away from demanding anything beyond civil disobedience. And what she says is not true. Progress is being made, even if it's not big enough," he writes.
Alstadheim continues:
"We need a Greta Thunberg and activists pushing from the outside. We don't need a Greta Thunberg who just spreads contempt and hopelessness."
