Because of these relationships, managers typically stay with the company up to 15 years. ​KTLA shared about In-N-Out managers’ salaries on TikTok, and the number surprised many people. ​“Wait. hold on. did she say a FREE double double???”  One person joked. ​Others justified the salaries by how hard the In-N-Out managers work. ​“I worked at In-N-Out for 3 months, and I promise you, it was like the military for burgers. They do NOT play. I had to get out immediately lol great pay though,” someone wrote. ​This person agreed, writing, “I don’t think you all understand HOW stressful running a restaurant is at this volume.” ​“They train for years and work their way up. In-N-Out is proof that companies can afford to pay employees a living wage.
